Chanson d’Automne, was transmitted. “Les sanglots longs des violons de l’automne”(Long sobs of autumn violins) alerted the resistance fighters of the Ventriloquist network in the Orléans region to attack rail targets within the next few days. The second line, “Bercent mon coeur d’une langueur monotone” (“soothe my heart with a monotonous languor”), transmitted late on 5 June, meant that the attack was to be mounted immediately.

Pastor Charles L. Worley of Providence Road Baptist Church in Maiden, North Carolina, has roundly condemned President Obama’s endorsement of same-sex marriage while calling for gays and lesbians to be ‘put into an electrified pen’ and ultimately killed off.

*Genocide for gays*

Uploaded to YouTube in a video filmed on May 13, Pastor Worley is seen in the pulpit calling for the building of “a great, big, large fence —

150 or 100 mile long.”

“Put all the lesbians in there,” he continues. “Do the same thing for the queers and the homosexuals and have that fence electrified so they can’t get out…and you know what, in a few years, they’ll die out!”

He also said that if he’s asked who he’ll vote for, he’ll reply, “I’m not going to vote for a baby killer and a homosexual lover!” Many of the congregants are heard cheering and replying “Amen!”

Worley adds: “It makes me pukin’ sick to think about — I don’t even whether or not to say this in the pulpit — can you imagine kissing some man?”

The reverend’s vicious rant has been supported by many other protests from the pulpit in reaction to President Obama’s support for same-sex marriage, some of whom favor prosecution against anyone discovered to be gay.

Pastor Sean Harris of the Berean Baptist Church in Fayetteville has advocated that parents should “punch” their male child if he is found to be effeminate and “crack that wrist” if he is “limp-wristed”.

*Akin to sanctioning union with beasts*

Similarly, Tim Rabon, pastor at Raleigh’s Beacon Baptist Church, condemned states such as Massachusetts, Connecticut and Maryland which have already “re-defined” marriage to include lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) couples before asking his congregants, “What is stopping them from refining marriage from a person and a beast? We’re not far from that.”

Billboards Illustrate Heartland’s Approach To Science
http://mediamatters.org/blog/201205040005

As the evidence continues to mount that humans are changing the climate
with serious consequences, the libertarian Heartland Institute is becoming
increasingly desperate to recast concern about climate change as “radical.”
This week the organization, usually so sensitive about logical fallacies,
launched a billboard campaign in Chicago associating “belief” in global
warming with murderers and tyrants, including Ted Kaczynski, Charles Manson
and Fidel Castro.
